1. Overview

TheBonusBall (“we”, “us”, “our”, the “Promoter”) operates skill-based prize competitions and promotions on the Website. By entering any competition (a “Competition”), you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to these Terms.

2. Eligibility

• Competitions are open to individuals aged 18+ who are resident in the United Kingdom.
• Employees of the Promoter (and anyone professionally connected) are not eligible to enter.
• We may require proof of age, identity and address before awarding any prize.

3. Skill-based entry requirement

Competitions are operated as skill-based prize competitions and are intended to fall outside the definition of a lottery under the Gambling Act 2005. Where a Competition includes a skill question, your entry is only valid if:

• You submit your answer personally (no automated systems / scripts).
• You answer the skill question correctly where required.
• Your entry is recorded as valid in our systems.

We may void entries that we reasonably believe were submitted using automation, collusion, or any method intended to bypass the skill requirement.

• Each Competition page states the prize, entry price (if applicable), scheduled draw date, ticket closing time, and any entry limits.
• Entry limits are per person per Competition. We may remove excess entries and refund where appropriate.
• We reserve the right to refuse or disqualify entries that are incomplete or in breach of these Terms.

6. Closing dates & rollover

• Each Competition displays a scheduled draw date linked to an official UK National Lottery Lotto draw.
• Ticket sales close at 7:30pm (UK time) on the scheduled draw date.
• No paid or postal entries will be accepted after 7:30pm (UK time) on the scheduled draw date.
• A Competition may also close earlier if all available entries are allocated/sold.

6.1 Minimum entry threshold

If insufficient entries are received by 7:30pm (UK time) on the scheduled draw date, the Promoter reserves the right to:

• Extend the Competition to the next applicable UK National Lottery draw; or
• Offer a cash alternative based on a percentage of net entry revenue; or
• Substitute the prize with one of equal or lower value.

6.2 Bonus Ball rollover

Where a Bonus Ball Competition has not sold out or reached its required entry level before 7:30pm (UK time) on the scheduled draw date, the Competition will automatically roll over to the next applicable UK National Lottery Lotto draw.

The updated draw date will be displayed on the Competition page. All valid entries remain active and carry forward to the new draw date unless the Competition is cancelled.

7. Winner selection

Winner selection depends on the Competition type and is described on the Competition page.

7.1 Bonus Ball competitions

For “Bonus Ball” Competitions, the winning outcome is based on the published official UK National Lottery Lotto Bonus Ball for the specified draw date. You win if your chosen number matches the published Bonus Ball result for that draw date.

The Promoter is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or connected to The National Lottery, Camelot UK Lotteries Limited, Allwyn Entertainment Ltd, or any associated entity. Results are referenced for transparency only.

7.2 Other competitions / Instant Wins

If a Competition uses a random draw or Instant Win mechanic, the method will be stated on the Competition page and may include a verifiably random process (e.g., RNG). Instant Win availability and rules are shown on the relevant Competition page.

8. Winner notification & claim

• Winners are contacted using the details provided on their account. It is your responsibility to keep these up to date.
• If a Winner cannot be contacted within 5 working days (unless extended at our discretion), or fails verification, we may select an alternative winner or handle the Competition as stated on the Competition page.
• We may publish winner information (e.g., first name and area) for transparency. Additional publicity (photos/video) is optional and requires consent.

9. Prizes

• Prize details are shown on the Competition page.
• Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash unless explicitly stated.
• We may substitute a prize with one of equal or greater value if necessary.
• UK delivery is included unless otherwise stated on the Competition page.
• Winners are responsible for any taxes and duties that may be payable in connection with receipt of a Prize.

10. Refunds, chargebacks & cancellations

• Paid entries are final and non-refundable except where:
  • An entry was made after the Competition closed; or
  • The Competition is cancelled by the Promoter; or
  • Applicable consumer law requires otherwise.
• If payments are reversed (e.g., chargeback), the relevant entries are void and any prize may be withheld or recovered.
• We may request proof of payment and/or identification where fraud prevention checks are triggered.

11. Fair use, abuse & account closure

We may suspend or close accounts, refuse entries, or void entries where we reasonably believe there is: fraud, abuse, harassment, multiple account use, entry manipulation, automation, or behaviour that damages the integrity of the Competitions.

12. Free postal entry

To enter any Competition for free by post, you must first create an account on the Website. Send a postcard or letter including:

• Full name
• Full UK address
• Date of birth
• Email address (must match your Website account email)
• Telephone number
• The exact name of the Competition you wish to enter

• Postal entries must be received before the Competition closing time/date.
• Limit: one postal entry per person per Competition.
• Postal entries delivered in person or bulk entries in one envelope are not permitted and may be rejected.
• Free entries are allocated an entry/number by the Promoter and are treated the same as paid entries.

13. Responsible play

Competitions are intended for entertainment purposes only. Please enter responsibly. If you feel your participation is becoming excessive, we encourage you to take a break. We reserve the right to impose entry limits or suspend accounts where necessary.

14. Data protection

We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We may use your data to administer Competitions, prevent fraud, contact Winners, and deliver prizes. We do not sell personal data.

15. Technical issues

We are not responsible for entries that fail due to internet issues, device/browser incompatibility, payment provider failure, or other technical errors outside our reasonable control. Only entries recorded in our systems are valid.

16. Limits of liability

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or your statutory rights. Otherwise, our liability is limited to:

• For Winners: the value of the prize won.
• For non-Winners: the total amount you paid for entries to the relevant Competition.

17. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales and the courts of England & Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
