Please read these rules carefully before entering a competition
These Competition Rules apply to all skill-based prize competitions operated on TheBonusBall.co.uk. By entering a competition, you agree to follow these rules alongside our Terms and Conditions.
You must be aged 18 or over and a UK resident to enter. No purchase is necessary: a free postal entry route is available. Accepted paid and free postal entries are treated equally once recorded.
Eligibility
- You must be aged 18 or over.
- You must be a UK resident.
- Employees, associates or connected persons of TheBonusBall may be excluded from entering.
- We may request proof of age, identity or eligibility before any prize is fulfilled.
Ticket numbers and entry limits
Bonus Ball competitions use ticket numbers from 1–59. Each ticket number can only be assigned once per competition.
- Each number is only available to one entrant for that competition.
- Any entry limits are displayed on the relevant competition page.
- Entries must be completed correctly before the stated closing time.
Closing time
Bonus Ball competitions usually close at 7:30pm UK time on Wednesday or Saturday, as displayed on the relevant competition page.
- Entries cannot be accepted after the displayed closing time.
- The active draw date shown on the competition page is the draw date used for Round 1 and Round 2.
- It is your responsibility to check the relevant competition page before entering.
If a competition does not fill
Where a competition has not sold out by its stated closing time, it may roll over to the next applicable draw date.
- Valid existing entries remain active during a rollover.
- No refunds are issued solely because a competition rolls over.
- The updated draw date and closing information will be shown on the competition page.
- Round 1 and Round 2 apply once the competition is active for the relevant draw date.
Round 1 — Main Prize
Round 1 is used to determine the winner of the advertised main prize. If your chosen number matches the official Round 1 UK Lotto Bonus Ball, you win the main prize shown on the competition page.
- The Round 1 result is checked against the valid recorded entry list.
- The main prize winner must meet all eligibility and verification requirements.
- Results are publicly verifiable for transparency.
TheBonusBall is not affiliated with or endorsed by The National Lottery. Lotto results are referenced as a publicly available and independently published result source.
Round 2 — Entry Fee Credit
Round 2 gives eligible entrants a second chance where they did not win the Round 1 main prize. If your chosen number matches the official Round 2 UK Lotto Bonus Ball, you receive your entry fee back as website credit.
- Round 2 credit is separate from the advertised main prize.
- Website credit can be used towards future eligible entries on TheBonusBall.co.uk.
- Website credit may be subject to account checks, fraud prevention checks and site rules.
- Website credit is not normally withdrawable as cash unless clearly stated otherwise.
Winner selection
- Winning outcomes are determined using the published UK Lotto Bonus Ball results.
- Round 1 determines the advertised main prize winner.
- Round 2 determines entry fee website credit where applicable.
- TheBonusBall does not generate, select or manipulate draw outcomes.
Winner contact and verification
- We aim to contact verified main prize winners within 24 hours where possible.
- Winners may be required to verify their identity before prizes are released.
- Round 2 website credit may be applied after checking the result and entry record.
- Failure to provide required verification information may delay prize fulfilment.
Prize fulfilment
- Cash prizes are transferred after verification has been completed.
- Physical prizes are sent using tracked delivery where available.
- Tracking information is provided once a physical prize has been dispatched.
- Round 2 website credit is applied to the relevant customer account where applicable.
Free postal entry route
You may enter eligible competitions for free by post. Only one free entry is permitted per envelope.
- Include the competition name.
- Include your full name, address, email address and phone number.
- Include the answer to the skill question, where applicable.
- Postal entries must arrive before the stated closing time.
- Accepted postal entries are included in both Round 1 and Round 2 outcomes.

Multiple entries in a single envelope may be rejected. Free postal entries are treated the same as paid entries once validated and recorded.
Fair play and disqualification
- We may disqualify incomplete, fraudulent, abusive or ineligible entries.
- Attempts to manipulate a competition may result in account suspension or restriction.
- Chargeback abuse, duplicate accounts or suspicious activity may be investigated.
- Any prize or website credit connected to an invalid entry may be withheld or recovered.
