Refund Policy
This Refund Policy explains when refunds may (and may not) be issued for competition entries made on TheBonusBall. Please read this alongside our Rules before entering.
Important: Competition entries are generally non-refundable once confirmed,
except in the specific circumstances outlined below.

1) No refunds after entry
- Once an entry has been submitted into a live competition, refunds are not available.
- Entries are recorded and cannot be withdrawn without compromising fairness and integrity.
- Competition entries represent participation in a prize competition, not the purchase of goods.
2) When refunds may be issued
- If a competition is cancelled entirely and cannot proceed, all paid entries will be refunded.
- If a technical or billing error results in an incorrect or duplicate charge.
- If a refund is required under applicable UK consumer law.
- Refunds are not issued due to a change of mind after entry.
3) If a competition does not sell out (Rollover)
- Bonus Ball draws scheduled for Wednesday or Saturday close at 7:30pm (UK time) on the day of the draw.
- If a competition does not sell out before closing time, it may roll over to the next live National Lottery draw.
- All existing ticket numbers remain fully valid during rollover.
- No refunds are issued solely because a competition has rolled over.
- Updated draw dates and closing times will be shown on the competition page.
4) Bonus Ball competitions
- Bonus Ball competitions use a fixed ticket range of 1–59.
- Winning numbers are determined using the official National Lottery Bonus Ball result for the relevant draw date.
- Once an entry is recorded, refunds are not issued unless Section 2 applies.
5) How refunds are processed
- Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method where possible.
- Processing times depend on your payment provider (typically 5–10 business days).
6) Fraud prevention & abuse
- Refunds may be refused where there is evidence of fraudulent activity.
- Chargeback abuse or attempts to manipulate competitions may result in account restriction.
