Draw Process

Please read this draw process carefully before entering

This page explains how TheBonusBall determines winners, checks results and applies the two chances included with every valid Bonus Ball entry.

How the Winner Is Determined

Every Bonus Ball competition uses numbers 1–59. Each valid entry is linked to one chosen number and that number remains active until the competition is completed or rolled into its next advertised draw.

Entries close at 7:30pm UK time on Wednesday or Saturday, unless a different closing time is clearly shown on the relevant competition page.

Round 1 — Main Prize

Round 1 decides the winner of the advertised main prize. Once the relevant draw has taken place, we reference the published Round 1 Lotto Bonus Ball result.

When your valid chosen number matches the Round 1 Bonus Ball, you win the main prize displayed on that competition.

Round 2 — Entry Fee Credit

Every valid entry also receives a second chance. When you do not win the main prize in Round 1 but your number matches the published Round 2 Lotto Bonus Ball, your entry fee is returned as website credit.

Website credit is added to the account used for entry and can be used towards future eligible competitions on TheBonusBall.co.uk.

If a Competition Does Not Sell Out

A competition that has not sold out by its closing time may roll over to the next applicable live draw. All valid entries remain active during a rollover unless we clearly state otherwise on the competition page.

Checking and Verifying Results

• We check the applicable published result against the recorded entry list.
• Round 1 is used solely to determine the main prize winner.
• Round 2 is used solely to determine entry fee website credit.
• Entry and order records are retained to support verification and auditing.

Winner Notification and Fulfilment

We aim to contact main prize winners within 24 hours once the result has been verified. We may request age, identity or eligibility checks before a prize is released or delivered.

Physical prizes are sent using tracked delivery where available. Cash prizes are paid following completion of verification checks. Round 2 website credit may be applied once the result has been checked.
